I. Reports

1. Recorder - Hsieh
   • Updated the Alumni Club database from the forms received. Will put the list on our private web site for members to see
   • Did not get a chance to write the article to Octogonian introducing the Alumni Club. Will work on that in conjunction with the letter soliciting for membership to all BD Sammies and all Sammies that are located in the greater Bay Area (list from National).
2. Exchequer - Barko
   • The executive board authorized Mike Barko to open a bank account on behalf of the Alumni Club.
   • The executive board has determined that we want the account to require two signatures. (see Constitution Article 6 Section C) The two signatures can be a combination of any two board members.
   • Beginning balance - $540.
   • Withdrawals: Alumni Club Registration to National - $50.
   • Deposits: Membership donations from Fra John Paine - $10.
   • Ending balance - $540.
   • Provided a list of all members that has contributed to the club.
3. Vice Prior - Zell
   • Reviewed letter to national regarding Beta Delta status and the Alumni clubs position on the matter. The letter was approved as is and will be mailed out to National.
   • Announced that he has reserved a space for tailgates at SJSU football games.
   • Will contact John this week to schedule a time we can drop off the pledge paddles and composites to his house for storage.
4. Prior - Sanchez
   • Talk to National to see if there is any Sammy that will transfer to SJSU to contact him
   • Fee for a mailing list from National is $25.
   • Need to get the zip codes for some of the local counties.
   • Status of some of our ambiguous members:
     • M. Snow - Uninitiated
     • M. McMitchell - Uninitiated
     • J. Hankin - Initiated at SDSU
     • C. Thompson - Initiated at SJSU in '65
   • Need to confirm if C. Hilton will be the social chairman
   • Talk to Fra Paine and said he will store the pledge paddles and composites but can't store the Coke machine or pool table. Will consider selling them.
   • Talk to Fra Paine and announced that he can have the Alumni Club B-B-Q on August 29th

1. Need to track who has submitted a form. Mickey will include a field in the database for club members
2. Ambiguous members - see prior report
3. Fra Contreras will represent the Alumni Club at the St. Louis convention. He will also give Fra Paine a copy of the letter regarding Beta Delta status.

1. Review chapter Constitution and By-Laws. Both the Constitution and By-Laws were approved with two changes:
   1. Move Article 8 - Convention Voting from the By-Laws to the Constitution
   2. Change all references of President and Vice President to Prior and Vice Prior
2. Fra Hilton accepted the position of social chairman

1. There will be a memorial service for Ken Ishida (a Sammy from Sigma-Sigma) in San Diego this Saturday and the chapter in Sigma-Sigma will also have its own private memorial for Ken next Thursday, July 30, at 5 pm.
2. Fra M. Hsieh will have his summer party on August 22nd.
3. Fra J. Paine will have the Alumni Club B-B-Q on the 29th
