Present: Lloyd Gordon, Vince Contreras, Jim Paine, Mike Meckl, John Paine, Tim Burke and Siatuu (STU) Lavatai

I. Old Business:

1. SAMMY Emails & Data Entry (as per Fra John Paine)
1. Fra Stu Lavatai has submitted his SAMMY Email directory to Fra Paine.
2. Fra Vince Contreras will assist Fra Paine in consolidating SAMMY Emails. Hopefully, the Email consolidation will lead to the next phase of completing the SVAGoSAM Cyber group and reference network.
2. Nominations for SVAGoSAM Council
   1. Present Council is still accepting nominations for 2002 and 2003. Please send all of your nominations to the Recorder via Email: (sammystu@hotmail.com).
3. Logo Approved
   1. Council has voted and approved our NEW SVAGoSAM Logo. Our appreciation and recognition is forwarded to Logo Designer: Fra Tom Lucente.

II. Reports

1. Recorder Report
   1. Still receiving SAMMY Emails and adding them to my Email directory.
2. Exchequer Report ( per Jeff Kuch)
   1. The grand total (approximately $3,551.00) did not change drastically from November 2001. $700 reserved for Sigma Sigma's Stove wasn't used, since they already purchased and installed it.
3. Vice Prior Report. (per Fra John Paine)
   1. Paine will contact Moffett Field Golf Course Staff about holding our tournament on site. He will also check other Bay Area courses, as well.
2. Beta Delta 40th Reunion will be held during April or May 2003. Continue to monitor your Emails for exact dates and other details concerning this event.
4. Prior Report.
   1. No Report.
5. Octagon Consultant (per Fra Vince Contreras)
   1. Regional Leadership Conference scheduled during the weekend of (Feb 1st to 3rd) in Las Vegas.
      1. Suites at "The Alexis Park Hotel" have been reserved for SAMMY Alumni. Regional Governor, Fra Jerry Low & Fra Steve Labelle have alumni events planned for this weekend.
      2. Alumni from Arizona, Washington, Southern Cal and Nevada already made reservations. So, is Beta Delta & SVAGoSAM going to show up? If you want more info concerning this Vegas Weekend, please forward all questions to Fra Contreras via Email:   (DrWho@worldnet.att.net).

III. New Business:

1. Monthly Alumni Meetings
   1. These meetings will be PRIMARILY intended for SVAGoSAM Council to discuss business matters effecting our alumni club.
   2. Non-Council Alumni are WELCOME to attend, but they MUST send a (RSVP) notice to the Recorder via Email: (sammystu@hotmail.com) prior to attending.
2. Social & Brotherhood Events
   1. In order to promote brotherhood and to practice our fraternity ideals, Council plans to schedule several social and brotherhood events annually. These events include golf tourneys, BBQ and pool parties, College & PRO sporting events and much more.

IV. Announcements:

1. Our next SVAGoSAM meeting will be held on Tuesday (January 15, 2002) at 7pm at Max's Cafe (Westgate Mall) San Jose.
