Removing Sunncomm Mediamax drivers

These 'drivers' were installed on my machine and Sunncomm wouldn't explain how to get rid of them, so I got pissed off, figured it out, and decided to post the instructions. Yes, Sunncomm, they do interfere with my machine, they add yet another driver that slows it down.

Removing the Device Driver

1. Right-click on your My Computer icon and click on Manage.
2. Click on Device Manager.
3. On the toolbar, click on View / Show hidden devices.
4. Find the device "SbcpHid", right-click on this device and click Uninstall.
5. Click OK on the Confirm Device Removal dialog box.
6. Click Yes to restart your computer and finish the device driver piece.

Removing the Dynamic Link Libraries (DLLs)

1. Open a command prompt by doing Start Menu / Run / "cmd" .
2. Type the command "regsvr32 /u SCCD3X01.dll" (hit Yes or OK if prompted)
3. Type the command "regsvr32 /u SCCD3X02.dll" (hit Yes or OK if prompted)
4. Perform a Search of your C: drive to find and delete this files.
5. Reboot for good measure and you're done.

No warranty implied or expressed about this procedure, but I do know it works if followed properly. Good luck and enjoy!
